Why most business brands look the same

Generic brand, generic prices.

Logo from a $5 Fiverr or a free generator
No consistency across vehicle, website, socials
No brand guidelines, every designer reinvents the wheel
Looks the same as every competitor in your area
How we build brands

Identity first, then everything.

01

Brand discovery

Workshop to understand the business, the customer, the competition, and what you want to be known for. Brand strategy comes first. Visuals follow.

Why it matters: brand without strategy is decoration. Discovery shapes every design decision that follows so the brand actually means something.
02

Visual identity

Logo system (primary, secondary, monogram, favicon), colour palette with HEX/RGB/CMYK/Pantone, typography (display + body), and supporting graphic elements.

Why it matters: a brand is a system, not a logo. Build the system once and every future asset becomes easier and stays consistent.
03

Brand guidelines

Written PDF guidelines covering logo usage, colour rules, type, photography style, voice, and do-nots. Hand it to any designer and they can produce on-brand work.

Why it matters: brands die when nobody can produce consistent work. Guidelines turn the brand into a system anyone can apply.
04

Collateral rollout

Vehicle wraps, signage, business cards, uniforms, social templates, ad templates, email signatures. Every touchpoint a customer sees, branded properly.

Why it matters: branding compounds. One branded van is okay. Branded van + website + invoice + email + social = trust that justifies premium pricing.

Common questions

What clients ask about branding.

Do I need a full rebrand or just a refresh?
Depends. If the existing brand has equity (recognition, customer loyalty) but looks dated, a refresh works. If the brand is fundamentally weak or wrong-positioned, a full rebrand is the right call. We assess in the marketing review before committing either way.
How does branding generate more work?
Trust and recall. A branded van that looks professional gets remembered. A consistent brand across website, social, and signage builds trust faster. Strong brands command higher prices because the perceived quality is higher before the customer even meets you.
Will branding help as a solo operator?
Yes, possibly more than for bigger businesses. A solo operator with strong branding looks established, professional, and intentional. It's one of the cheapest ways to compete with larger operators.
How long does a brand project take?
Typically 4-6 weeks from discovery through final delivery. Faster if scope is smaller (logo + colours only). Longer if rollout includes large physical collateral (multi-vehicle wrap, full signage).
Do I own the files?
Yes. You get all source files (AI, EPS, SVG, PSD, INDD) on completion. Your brand belongs to you. We don't hold designs hostage.
Can I update collateral myself later?
Yes. We supply social templates as Canva or Figma files you can edit. Print collateral comes with print-ready source files for any future designer or print shop.
How much does branding cost?
It really depends on scope. Three factors drive the quote: complexity (number of services, suburbs, or deliverables), ambition (what you're trying to win), and existing assets (what we can build on vs rebuild). A small refresh is very different to a multi-location rollout. We give a real quote in the marketing review based on your specific requirements, not a generic range.
